Strawberry Banana Smoothie

by Emily Gutke Leave a Comment

Three of my daughters and I spent the morning at a local berry farm picking 20 pounds of strawberries. Now we just have to figure out what to do with it all! This has been our go to smoothie for years, we all love it – and you can easily adapt it to whatever fruit you have hanging out in your fridge.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

6 ounces plain yogurt, low fat or full fat
1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries (You can use any type of soft flesh fruit, it just has to equal 1 cup. We’ve used all different combinations of blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and peaches)
1/4 banana, peeled
1/2 cup orange juice
3 Tablespoons honey (more or less to taste)
1 cup ice cubes

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
