Homemade Ranch Dressing

by Emily Gutke Leave a Comment

If you’re like me and are trying to recover from all the ice cream lately, whip up a quick batch of this Homemade Ranch Dressing and drizzle it over a salad tonight. Or serve it as a dip with your favorite vegetables for a healthy snack. It also makes a great side to take to a barbecue this summer. Like most of my recipes, I try to keep it pretty versatile because 7 different people makes for 7 different “favorite” ways to eat it!
.
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon dried parsley
3/4 teaspoon dried chives
1/2 teaspoon Lawry’s seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried dill
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
A dash of hot sauce, optional

Whisk all ingredients together until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for several hours before serving. Use as a salad dressing or serve as a dip for carrot sticks, celery, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, sliced bell pepper, etc. It’s even good with potato chips 😉.
