This Cheddar Ranch Cheeseball is a holiday necessity!  It’s quick, easy, and you can make it ahead of time.  I’ve even figured out how to sneak reduced fat cream cheese into the recipe so that I can increase my intake of cheeseball.  I think that’s how it’s supposed to work, right? 😂  Enjoy this one, it’s a keeper!

Secrects to a Successful Cheeseball

Ranch is our Friend

Don’t let “ranch” in the ingredient list scare you away.  My husband would rather eat plain lettuce than have ranch dressing on his salad, but he can’t get enough of this ranch flavored cheeseball.  Enjoy!

Cheddar Ranch Cheeseball

2 (8oz) packages of cream cheese, softened (I use one regular, and one reduced fat cream cheese)
1 (1 oz) package of ranch dressing mix
2 cups pre-shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup pecans, finely chopped

In a medium sized bowl, mash the cream cheese, dressing mix, and cheddar cheese together with a fork. Place the finely chopped pecans in a shallow bowl or pie dish. Divide the cheeseball mixture in half. Put each half on a large piece of plastic wrap and using hands, shape the mixture into a ball. Remove ball from inside of plastic wrap and roll in chopped pecans. Cover the cheeseball with plastic wrap and let sit overnight in the refrigerator for the best flavor. Serve with crackers.
